The IDEA of Change Pilot
The IDEA of Change Pilot is a structured, founder-led engagement designed to help an organization evaluate the conditions surrounding one important proposed or active change initiative.
Over approximately six to eight weeks, CoachKing1989 LLC works with organizational leaders and selected stakeholders to identify strengths, surface implementation barriers, and develop a practical roadmap for action.
The pilot may include:
Leadership discovery and initiative-definition session
Review of the change initiative, intended outcomes, and affected stakeholders
Confidential employee or stakeholder assessment
Selected leadership or stakeholder interviews
Analysis across the four IDEA pillars
Findings and recommendations presentation
Development of a focused 90-day implementation roadmap
Follow-up review and measurement recommendations
Because this is a founding pilot, participating organizations also help refine the assessment process and contribute to the continuing development of THE IDEA OF CHANGE™ methodology.
Who the Pilot Is For
The IDEA of Change Pilot is designed for organizations, departments, and leadership teams responsible for implementing a defined change initiative.
The pilot may be a strong fit if your organization is:
-
Introducing a new process, system, service, or technology
-
Restructuring a department or redesigning workflows
-
Responding to low engagement, inconsistent performance, or high turnover
-
Working to improve organizational culture
-
Preparing employees for new responsibilities or expectations
-
Experiencing resistance, confusion, or uneven adoption
-
Attempting to sustain a change that has already begun
-
Seeking clearer information before making a major implementation investment
The strongest pilot candidates have a defined change initiative, an engaged executive or senior leader, access to relevant stakeholders, and a willingness to act on the findings.
What the Client Receives
Each pilot is scoped around the organization and its selected change initiative. Depending on the agreed engagement, the client receives:
-
A leadership discovery and change-definition session
-
A stakeholder assessment aligned with the IDEA pillars
-
An organizational change-condition profile
-
An IDEA scorecard highlighting strengths and priority risks
-
A comparison of leadership intent and stakeholder experience, when appropriate
-
A written summary of key findings
-
Prioritized recommendations across Innovation, Development, Education, and Administration
-
A facilitated findings presentation for organizational leaders
-
A practical 90-day implementation roadmap
-
Recommended indicators for monitoring progress
-
A scheduled follow-up review
The client does not receive only a score. The goal is to translate organizational insight into clear decisions, assigned priorities, and measurable next steps.
